Arrival

I am arrived in Las Vegas. Well I arrived over a week ago. But I'm just now getting around to building this thing.

The drive wasn't so bad. Only made one stop, mostly for gas and a potty break. Didn't eat much, and I'm pretty sure that Burger King made me a lil sick.

Was able to stay at the place Jessie was renting for the first night, yay for a real bed for at least one night. When he got off work on Friday we instantly packed up all his stuff and drove out to the house. It was a lot nicer then I was expecting.

Several nights of sleeping on the floor left my back and limbs not too pleased with me. But luckily the cable and internet were turned on on Saturday. So I was able to distract my self with pretty images and online games.

The POD made it in on Wednesday with no problem, well except I had to wake up at 7 am for it, but that was really 8 am before time traveling, so I could deal. I got some of the stuff unloaded until Jessie got home, we did a little bit more. But later that night his sister and brother came into town. His brothers girlfriend, Tina, lives out here, so the five of us all went out to dinner before calling it a night.

Unfortunately Jessie had to work the next day, and was up pretty late. So after work he just came home and crashed. I ended up spending the whole day with them. We went to Lake Mead and played at the Marina there, well after we found it and did some off-roading in Tina's Firebird. The fish at this place were pretty insane. We bought several large bags of popcorn and took them out on to the dock, where we were instantly swarmed by huge fish and a mess of mean ducks. The fish would all surface and fight to get some of the popcorn when you through it in. Sadly I wasn't thinking too well when we left the house and I didn't bring my camera. What kind of photographer am I?! I did steal Evas camera at one point and took a mess of pictures, so maybe she'll send me some of those. Here's one I got with my phone.

After that we headed out to Fremont Street. Had a good time down there. They wanted to buy Eva a huge drink thing that looked like a guitar and had a neck strap, but when we got there no one had them, so she just got a big tall glass that was half her height. We walked around, Tina bought some hats for her and one for me. It has a skull on it.

We watched Gran Turino at a theater on Fremont after getting some food at a nice little Irish pub/restaurant. The movie was better then I was expecting it to bed, it made Tina cry at the end though.
